Data deletion

You can delete the data Remember Media holds about you or your organization at any time. Pick the option that fits, or email us and we'll do it for you.

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account

Disconnecting removes the app's access and deletes the data we received from that account within 30 days: profile details, media, insights, comments and messages. Posts and captions you created in the app stay until you delete the brand or the organization.

In the app:

1. Sign in at remembermedia.app.
2. Open Settings › Publishing & integrations.
3. Find the account under Platform access and choose Disconnect.

From Facebook or Instagram instead:

• Facebook: Settings and privacy › Settings › Apps and websites › Remember Media › Remove.
• Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites › Remember Media › Remove.

Removing the app there ends our access, and we delete the data received from that account within 30 days.

If you're a team member of an organization

Ask your organization's Owner to remove you from Settings › Team, or email us. Your name stays on past work records (approvals, comments, tasks) so the organization's history stays accurate; your account details are deleted.

If you're a client or stakeholder with a portal link

Email us from the address your portal invitation went to. We'll delete your contact details and remove your access. Your past approvals stay on record for the organization that invited you, with your name.

If you're an Owner and want everything gone

Cancel the subscription or delete the organization from Settings › Billing. You get 30 days to export first. Then every brand, post, file, contact and connected-account record is deleted, apart from invoices and records we must keep for tax and accounting.

Or email us

Send a message to support@remember901.com with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email address on your account. Say what you want deleted: your account, a connected social account, a brand, or a whole organization. We'll confirm within 5 business days, finish within 30 days, and tell you when it's done. We may ask for a detail that confirms it's you.

What we keep

Invoices and payment records that tax and accounting law require, anonymous usage statistics with nothing that identifies you, and copies in backups, which clear on their normal cycle.
